i'm glad carrie underwood won american idol 2005. i think she did well. i guess the american idol craze went down really cold after we had our own singapore idol. like all singing english competition in singapore, the process is great, just like talent time and singapore idol, everyone supported someone. but the aftermath, where did they went? i don't think our singapore idol taufik made it big enough. maybe among the malay citizens in singapore. what about slyvester? a Chinese album out, with really nice songs. well, still waiting to hear his fame oversea, especially taiwan, the headquater for mandarin music.
now work. i'm really really glad i took a break and had "charged the batteries". or else, i'm not able to take all the stress at work. i had to take control and make sure that the exhibitor check in is totally "mistake-free". my executive is not gonna care much, as she won't be at the check-in counter. where else, i will be there. i don't care if i spend more time in the office doing extra checking work, as long as everything is fine on-site. since my executive is not going to cover my ass, i have to do something about it myself! 2 weeks later and i will be on-site - singapore expo. communicasia2005, finally, the show i have been working on for the past 10 months. i've worked so hard for this show, and i think i deserve a excellent show (and probably some nice words). but well, i'm happy enough if everything go smoothly. two more weeks - my fingers crossed!

had been to bangkok three times already, and this is my favourite trip to bangkok:
took an airport bus down town, since i'm alone and meeting ah ni, ah ber and mazi at the hotel. cost only THB100 - so worth it. 30 minutes waiting time, 50 minutes travelling time (to my hotel), and a short walk.
dunkin donuts . one of our favourite food so far.
shopping kings and queens! world central plaza, a short walk from pratunam. air-con was what we needed!
prayer at four-face-buddha temple. a short walk from world central plaza. lotsa people prayer, and some lion dance performance.
our 2nd day at suan lum night bazaar. the most exciting thing? yes, food! pizza, lots and lotsa sausages, sotong, grilled chicken... yummy!
bad example: smoke! drink! eat (too much)!

yes, my group member suck. i'm not talking about school project - but my working group on the coming-soon project. i'm using the word group instead of team now is because we are not a team at all. a team are bond together and they help each other (like mta team). my group? just a bunch of people being put together. no bond. nothing. worst of all, i get all the shit out of it. i get to do all the work. i get all the instructions done. and i get all the shit when the instructions gone wrong. i'm ultimately ultra super duper very 1-million percent very piss and disappointed with those people. excuse, but please let me use the word - FUCKER(S)!

Proforma Invoice Issue
"I’m writing to you to let you know that I’m feeling very exasperated. This is regarding the “Proforma Invoice” issue (it's a very stupid issue).
The issue:
I was asked to issue profoma invoice for technical orders by my supervisor (the invoices suppose to be issued on the 2nd day of the exhibition, but my stupid extra ultra lame supervisor ask me to die die send proforma invoice). When I ask if I required to put any invoice number, my supervisor mentioned that whatever will do (whatever will do is like NO instructions given or it also the same as not putting any numbers).
Then today, I received a call from CCY from accounts department. She mentioned that all the money are coming in, yet they cannot match which company or what technical items it’s paid for (which is non of my business!)
CCY said that I should put invoice number, or at least keep a copy of the proforma invoice sent out. But from the first day I issue the proforma invoice, I[b] wasn’t told that I have to keep a copy of the proforma invoice[/b], or else I will definitely keep a copy. (Obviously SOMEONE didn't give the RIGHT instructions!
CCY mentioned that i should know that i have to be able to keep track of stuff i send out. c'mon, i'm an INTERN (check your dictionary if you don't understand). i'm here to learn. you don't give me ALL THE WORK (yes! ALL THE WORK) and throw me down into the hell. I only get SO LITTLE MONEY A MONTH and you ask me to do a job that's worth at least S$2000!
not only i did so much work, i didn't complaint at all, i do lotsa overtime just to make sure everything is done nicely and correctly. this is the kind of shit i get for working so hard? i seriously don't deserve this, especially when some DUMB BIMBO ask me to do something, and do it wrongly, and i'm the one who get the SHIT. and this is not the FIRST TIME! not only i have to help you do all your work, i have to clean up all your SHIT that you didn't wipe up from your ass. isn't a supervisor supposingly should help the intern? it's like the opposite here. something is SO WRONG.
what happened now is like, that crazy woman ask me to kill someone, and i have no choice but to do it. then, when i get caught, i'm the one who got all the blame as well. damn it!
if this is the kind of treatment i'm gonna get for working so hard, doing so well for your stupid exhibition, then i must be really crazy to continue doing so well. don't expect me to be your "super-office-boy/helper" from today onward. on expect me to do over time unless it's really no choice - by demand. don't expect me to initiat doing anything at all. don't expect me to go an extra mile for the group and for your exhibitors. because i'm just so sick and tired of being nice, hard working, i even supervise the new girl in our group, sick of doing all the work for you, sick being used, sick of being the scapegoat, sick of being pity by my other colleagues, sick of being BULLIED, i just feel so freaking sick!
work - 2 months more - 5.30pm - go home.
hard work = no bonus, no gratitude, no appreciation, get more work, being fucked by more people, making myself more stupid...
touch your heart and feel it yourself, how much help i am to the group!
i will always remember what my "DEAR" supervisor said to her colleague... "SHATEC STUDENTS ARE FOR US TO MAKE USE OF, SO WHY NOT?!"

A*Star seeks unreserved apology from blogger
SINGAPORE : Singapore's A*Star (Agency for Science, Technology and Research) said Singaporean blogger Chen Jiahao made direct accusations against the agency which were defamatory.
At a news conference on Friday, A*Star said it wanted Chen to retract the statements which it claimed were made on his blog.
A*Star said the post-graduate student made serious accusations that hit at the core of the organisation's integrity.
But it could not comment on what exactly was defamatory due to legal constraints.
The former scholar had since April 26 taken the blog off-line and published an apology.
But A*Star said it wanted the student to apologise unreservedly, retract what he had previously said in his blogs and promise not to do it again.
It said it had given Chen till May 8 to respond and that it had no desire to go to the courts over the issue.
A*Star's Chairman Philip Yeo had also invited Chen for tea to clear the air, and it said the student had responded that he would, when time permits. - CNA/de

first thing first. some idiot just trying act smart or something. no point bother with a stranger, so yah.
*phew* - finally, someone will share my burden and job wednesday onward. a temp will be joining my team and help to do crazy little things (i don't really like to do) like filing, mailing, updating of data and stuff, while i do other more important stuff. have been doing two persons job the past few month - oh, my pay for april hit the thousand digit. cool!
stars war episode III will be out real soon, i'm so excited!!! been waiting for so long for the final episode to complete the saga. i can't believe i don't have a friend who is also a star wars fan like me. i'm not a dead hard fan though, but star wars is like the coolest movie - EVER! i'm gonna watch it on wednesday on 18 may! laughs. i think i mixed with the wrong people... only cool people watch star wars! hahaa... (like me. mazi. ah ber) :P
well. it's not confirm yet, but i might (key word, might) be continue with ses after my attachment. but as always, still pending, and depend on a lot of things... such as manpower, time, salary, blah blah blahh....
