very happening. in holland v order something liao then suddenly blackout. yeah, the whole holland village blackout. then while we waited awhile for the traffic to get a little less messy (cos' all the traffic lights out too) we get to know that jurong, hougang, bishan and even my house also blackout. massive area blackout yeay, scary. we drove to bukit timah to have some food instead. luckily now my house got electricity or else i'll just be dead by the heat. however, the moonlight is pretty bright tonight, so the streets isn't that dark. while ah ber driving me home, we saw this black color thrash bag in the middle of the road out of no where. pretty weird huh. by the way, heard from radio that the blackout is because of the interruption of the natural gas from indonesia. well well, just quite scary when such things happen in such a well developed nation where nation wide blackout isn't that common as compared to other less developed countries. lights off!

think i need rest. but before that, blog.
i was quite worried at first as crime rate in KL pretty high and recently there's lotsa robbery going on. but it was okay after awhile. we went berjaya times square, sunway, KLCC, the twin tower, chinatown, etc etc
all the shopping centres are huge but haven't have much to buy. eat is one cool things to do there. my favourite? the seafood dinner, the chicken rice place and etc etc.
it's a good old travelling place. need to rest.

phew. finally i'm able to dig up this little time to update my blog. exams have finally come to an end. which means school has come to an end too. today is the last last day in shatec - feeling a little weird. a place where you love and you hate. i've been plenty of activities for my 2 weeks-only vacation before i start working in Singapore Exhibition Service Pte Ltd (SES), the largest exhibition and conference company in Singapore and SEA i think. I'll be working on CommunicAsia 2005 - hopefully it will be fun. I glad the my monthly allowance from SES isn't that bad. it's pretty good actually and plus plenty of other allowance. cool. 12 July is the day, the day where the life in the industry starts. I'll just take it as a chance to learn more and to find a niche in what I really want to do next time, after my national service, as a career.
But before all the boring stuff (i really need to quickly finish typing this), I'm going to Disneyland (YEAH). It has been a dream playground of mine and i can't imagne i'm going there like a weeks time. Will be going Tokyo for 5 days which also include Mt Fuji, Lake Ashi, Owakudani, Lake Yamanaka, Yokohama, etc etc. and of course Disneyland!!! :P
but before that, i'm going to say bye bye to Singapore tomorrow. I'll be going to KL, Malaysia for 3 days with my classmates. hopefully it will be safe. and it will definitely be fun.
as for today, will go clubbing at chinablack first, then mid-night go ktv with my family. i haven't meet agnes also. hmm... see, so many things need to be done. (damn, my visa mini haven't come in the mail).
gotta go pack for KL and Japan trip. Ciao guys, enjoy your day. lovely day.

most of the time what i wrote in my blog are things that ain't good. my frustration. my complaints. my bitching. no much happy things to share. because a lot of times, i leave all my unhappiness here - in my blog and i leave them here - not taking them along with me.
instead, i save all my happiness to myself and take them along with me, making me a happier person. no one will be satisfied with what they already have. even if they say they are satisfied with what they have, they just trying to impress themselves. they such impress it and not really satisfied.

Full-time NS to be cut to 2 years from Dec 2004 intake: Defence minister
SINGAPORE : [b]Singapore is shortening its full-time National Service by six months.[/b]NSmen, who are 18 years of age and promoted to the rank of corporals or higher, will only serve two years instead of two-and-half years.
This takes effect from the December 2004 intake.
There will also be a graduated reduction in NS stints for batches enlisted earlier.
In a ministerial statement to Parliament on Tuesday, Defence Minister Teo Chee Hean assured the nation that the operational readiness of the Singapore Armed Forces and its ability to carry out its mission will not be affected.
Rear-Admiral Teo explained that two key factors have come together to allow for this change - the transformation of the SAF into a third generation fighting force and a projected surge in the NS intake over the next 10 years.
There will be a 15 to 20 percent increase in the annual intake of full-time NS men over 10 years from 2006.
This is because of a higher birth rate from the Dragon year in 1988, which lasted till 1997.
There will be no change for those serving two years full-time NS.
The Home Affairs Ministry will make similar cuts for those serving NS in the Singapore Police Force and Singapore Civil Defence Force.
Mindef is also working with local universities to realign their intakes from 2007 to be in line with the shorter NS stints. - CNA

actually. not so hectic. just eventful. uniquely eventful. heh.
let's talk about friday. i'm so glad friday finish off early yet unexciting - and i mean school. i did nothing in school but to sit in and listen to other group's development workshop. oh, i had an apple only that afternoon. then kelvin came over to my place and fetch me to go to lynn's. she was taking a shower and making herself pretty. then we just talk and rest while waiting for nessa and marian to reach. the road to joey's place is pretty interesting. i think we got lost like a few times and we had lotsa U-turns. and its crazy in the car when ivan, marian and lynn gone crazy with the music playing. BBQ was alright. we all started the fire. at first i only wanted to play with the charcoal and fire, but then starting the fire gave me a sense of satisfaction (LOL). so. yah. anyway. that's not the point. when will so many of us have the chance to BBQ and hanging out again? chances are not a lot.
then (yes, i'm still on friday) when over to yiyan's 21st birthday chalet at aranda country club. most of the people left, so only left some of the gessian juniors and edwin and sixian. interesting enough, edwin, sixian, myself and yiyan's sister got lotsa things to talk about. not so bad - better than the gathering i went to with my upper sec school mates. interesting thing - the five of us share a king size bed together. haha. the room was super cool man.
at pasir ris, the latest addition to singapore's attraction - wild wild wet, looks interesting. early in the morning it's so noisy already. it's just right in front of the aranda country club chalets. looks pretty cool - or a nice place to relax or have fun. shall go there someday.
reach home on saturday morning. did my college writing a bit. then can't help it, i gotta sleep. haven't got enough sleep in the chalet. woah, woke up in the evening - what a nice sleep. then ah ni called and i'm already to go out soon. and my college writing research paper have been put aside. (really need to do it later, tomorrow is the deadline)
went to tealover and sing. ktv ktv. so long never go liao. how interesting. but with all the BBQ food i ate, my voice like shit. but it's okay lah. hehe. it's not singapore idol.
my weekend have not ended - but today sunday, really gotta finish up my college writing research paper. just do it do it do it.
what an eventful friday, yesterday and today too - i guess.

one presentation down, one more to go.
wooh. our team's presentation is quite okay today. it's definitely not impressive, but i'm sure the content is okay. ghee, i made mistakes in my handout, some spelling mistakes. hope it won't cause any marks deduction. i'm glad that i can find a good activity that i used.
but the next project seems really tough. a press conference thingy. i hope it will be okay also. it doesn't have to be impressive, i just want it to be okay, above average, or maybe average will do. just don't want to screw this up. i think there's a lot of work for me to do again. i want to heck-care one. but i think i won't have the chance. my teams members are pretty good, they would volunteer to do stuff (of course when i ask) - i just hope their content will be good.
i'm having this mix feeling now. i feel so happy everytime when i saw my classmates, the tourism peepz in school. not matter how we hate each other or we are just classmates, i'm happy to see them. good that i met david and jur this afternoon, or else i would have nobody to have lunch with. i can join jeremy, brian, joey they all from my team for lunch, but i choose not to. i don't know why. ayee, development workshop finishing soon - which means school's finishing soon. and exams - i wonder who would really care about exam now. but i have to. a lot of times i really feel like just let it be, just care-free, just get a passing rate would be good enough. but i just can't. i want to maintain what i achieved. and as someone told me before - if you want to do something, do it the best!" so i have to do my best.
i think what keeps me going on is this, "almost over... soon, soon."
hang on there. intead of stress, why not just have fun?!
i wish i can achieve that by next week.

a story of a lifetime... in a heartbeat
it's a wonderful movie. the love story is typical, like how saif ali khan and preity zinta are very good friends, then saif ali khan start loving preity. on the other side, preity is always angry or sad or mad of life until shahrukk khan came into the picture. then preity loves shahrukh khan. (see the love triangle?)
shakrukh khan loves preity, but he's sick. he only left with a few weeks to live. so he encourages saif ali khan not to stop loving preity. and the story goes on.
but of course the movie is more towards than that. there's family love, secrets and care with a touch of humour.
how interesting, my first hindi movie - one that i watch from the beginning til the end. nice music as well.
that's how i spent my afternoon - watching the four-disc video of a hindi movie - kal ho naa ho - a story of a lifetime... in a heartbeat

gosh. thursday is the presentation. i wonder how it will turn out to. new group. new people. new ideas. new coordination. new way of working style. totally new.
damn it. change is the only thing that is constant. and just like everyone elses, i really don't like change i'm having now. but like i have any choice.
good thing is, except for one peepz, i thot the rest of the group is pretty okay. xcept for one. i think.
i really hope mama will be back tomorrow. ahh!

3 class gatherings altogether in two days. started on thursday, meet my classmates from poly. it's jingting's birthday and we just have a simple meal at petals. the food is alright. didn't have much to say or talk to. just some crapping and stuff. when they talk about their final project and stuff - i didn't know anything of course. but i'm just glad i quit engineering. so glad.
second class gathering, a formal one. at rosette, shavilla. the shatec peepz. a farewell dinner. the dinner started off really really bad. the peepz unhappy with that peepz. miss tok feeling angry. some peepz late. and stuff. but as the dinner go on and on... it became better. it's fun and some part of it is touching. but i feel something is missing. even it's a farewell dinner, the unity of the class had already long gone. i actually expect more than what had happened. since that's that, let it be. at the end of it, peepz just keep taking photos and more photos and more photos. well, that's that.
after the farewell dinner with peepz at shatec. i went all the way to east coast park to meet my secondary school peepz. fiona and suet's waiting for me. i was so late. then i saw caigui, kamthong and a few peepz. i just talk to fiona and suet. really have nothing to talk to the rest. well, as i mentioned before - there's nothing much to miss about in seconary school and it haven't be exactly fun. also saw yongping, weijun, kaili and peiqin. but so what? if not for kamthong is the organiser of the bbq, i don't think i'll go there. fiona went because i'll go. maybe next time will just meet up with fiona and suet. good enough. or maybe there won't be a secondary class gathering anymore because the guys are all going to ns. the poly mates also. gone. ah. i rather spend the friday night with my "family" for ktv session.
my bollywood kal ho naa ho vcd just came in the mail today. and i need to mail some stuff.
